Considering members education as a first indicator - 96% have bachelor or higher degree. Chart below depicts the BCFAS members distribution by industry/branch/area of employment/. Prevailing are bank industry ( 39% ) and consulting industry ( 19% ). Other industries/branches rank as follows: investment banking, investment management counseling, mutual funds.

Although CEO, CFO and other top corporate governance positions are relatively frequent, diversity of member positions appears to be wide. The most common positions are Analyst ( 19% ) and Portfolio Manager ( 13 % ). Occupations like Chief Investment Officer , Investment Firm Manager , Investment Banker , Investment Counselor , Securities Trader , Chairman, Partner and Principal have approximately the same relative shares with each of them amounting up to 10%.

Another interesting trait is the intra-industry specialties distribution. The first place is taken by banking with all kinds of fixed-income security analysts coming next. Other specialties are non-bank financial institutions, consulting, technology, IT, real estate, food processing, beverages, other.
